Welcome to the Mountain Masters 16-Mile Trail Run

    Each year in the beautiful mountains of Harlan, Kentucky, the Festival of the Mountain Masters gathers together the regions’ most talented artisans as they display their many arts and crafts on the weekend after Thanksgiving.

    In an effort to expand and grow this great festival, organizers decided to add the Inaugural running of the Mountain Masters 16 Mile Trail Run in 2005.

    We look forward to seeing you at the 8th Annual race on November 23, 2013. This race has already proven to be a fall favorite of many runners across the region with beautiful mountain top scenery, custom finishers’ medals, and exceptional food and door prizes – not to mention awards hand-made by local artisans of the festival.
